The walls of corrugated containers (corrugated boxes, corrugated cases) come in a range of basic structures. The 2 components are always linerboard and corrugating medium. They are collectively called containerboard (corrugated container materials, CCM; fiberboard. cf: solid fiberboard, and 3 types of reconstituted wood board fiberboard).

Types of corrugated board:
Single face corrugated board. Single wall (double face) board. Double wall (double-double face) board. Triple wall board, which is the double wall configuration plus a further layer of corrugating medium and then linerboard on 1 side.
